We recently spoke with MPOWERD, a great company that makes affordable solar-powered lanterns (called the Luci), and the interview is now posted on their Bright Ideas blog.
We’re so grateful for their interest in what we’re up to and how we’re getting by. We’ve been using one of their products, the Luci Lux — well, six of them — as our main light source in and out of the yurt. They’ve been a godsend. We just set them in the sun all day and then we have warm, bright light for several hours in the evening as we cook, read, and get cozy. As far as off-grid lighting options go, we highly recommend them.
